For her Doctorate of Optometry, she attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. She has been local to Torrance ever since graduating from optometry school.
Dr. Yang enjoys seeing children of all ages. She particularly emphasizes early treatment to reduce myopia/near-nearsightedness using a treatment known as orthokeratology.
Dr. Yang specializes in the assessment and contributing factors to dry eye syndrome, utilizing the forefront of nutraceuticals, and pharmacologic treatments to address any deficiencies that may exist in the tears. She also applies this multi-faceted, early detection approach to any disease she manages.
She continues to give back to the community, offering free optometric services throughout the Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions.
Dr. Yang is actively involved as a board member for the Los Angeles County Optometric Society and as a member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
